Rear wing used by Ferrari in Spain is considered illegal by the FIA
The irregularity is given by the distance between the tabs of the apparatus, which exceeds the limits set out in regulation

Ferrari could not use its new rear wing cabinet. The FIA (International Automobile Federation) considered it illegal and, thus, the Italian team had to play in the decision-time on Saturday, valid for the Spanish Grand Prix, with the old version.

The information was confirmed by a spokesman for the team. "They told us that the concept is not cool, "he announced. In search of better results at the World Cup, Ferrari had built a new aerodynamic package in order to step Catalan, but was surprised by the interpretation of the commissioners of the organization.

The irregularity is given by the distance between the tabs of the apparatus, which exceeds the limits set out in regulation. On Friday, the Spanish race director Charlie Whiting had already confirmed the investigation.

With the old aerodynamic feature, the pilots did not get a red grid expressive. Spaniard Fernando Alonso will start on Sunday in fourth place and Felipe Massa will start on the fourth row, ranking eighth on the grid.

RIDICULOUS THIS ATTITUDE THAT WAY THE FIA ... THE CAR WILL NOT EVOLVE .... NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE THE INVENTIONS FREE AS ALWAYS HAS BEEN SINCE YOU BEGAN TO FORMULA 1
