German drivers Nick Heidfield (BMW Sauber) and Timo Glock (Toyota F1) were awarded second and third place respectively. Felipe Massa and Kimi Räikkönen finished outside the points standings, meaning Scuderia Ferrari will look to Shanghai to secure those all-important first Championship points of the season.
