BRIDGESTONE vai testar pneus slick em Abril

Conseguimos essas informações em primeira mão, do Diretor técnico Tetsuro Kobayashi.
Os pneus SLICKS foram usados pela primeira vez depois de muitos anos atrás.....nos treinos de Jerez de la Frontera, e os PILOTOS FICARAM IMPRESSIONADOS com a experiência, achando EXELENTES...
Agora a Bridgestone segue com o programa de treinos SLICK e fará novos trabalhos de 14 à 17 de Abril , em Barcelona.
Disse o Diretor Técnico TETSURO KOBAYASHI :
"Estamos a observar uma possível mudança nos pneus para o próximo ano 2009 e é, por isso, que nós avaliaremos o desenvolvimento dos últimos testes com composto slicks".
Para este ano , o Diretor Tetsuro da Bridgestone confirmou que somente o composto super macio deverá ser modificado, já que algumas equipes reclamaram destes pneus.
Concluiu TETSURO KOBAYASHI....
"As alterações terá mínimas evoluções na construção do pneu e em relação à segurança. Em termos do acerto do carro e da análise do piloto, não há diferença.
Os dados acumulados em 2007 podem ser usados em 2008.
Modificamos o composto SUPER MACIO, mas isto será visto em uso somente mais para frente.
Os outros pneus, o duro, o médio e o macio serão os mesmos. Logo anunciaremos os pneus para cada corrida para a primeira metade da temporada ".

The Honda Racing F1 Team Announces the first beneficiaries of the Myearthdream Trust
The Honda Racing F1 team today announces the charities and organisations that will benefit from funds raised by 2007’s myearthdream initiative.
Donations from the public at the myearthdream.com website totalled over £98,000. The beneficiaries were chosen by an independent Advisory Board of environmental experts who split the money equally between two international causes:
Marine Stewardship Council [www.msc.org]The Marine Stewardship Council is an independent non-profit organisation that promotes responsible fishing practices around the world.
Forest Stewardship Council [www.fsc.org]The Forest Stewardship Council is an international organization that brings people together to find solutions which promote responsible stewardship of the world’s forests.
Funding was also donated to the myearthdream Trust by Honda and its partners, which brought the total raised so far to over $1.2million including public donations. Beneficiary charities announced so far include:

BRIDGESTONE renova com a F-1 até 2010

A meio de 2006, a companhia japonesa ganhou a preferência para ser a fornecedora de 2008 à 2010, mas o acordo final ainda ficou por assinar. Este ano, a Bridgestone foi a única fabricante de pneus da F-1 depois de uma disputa com a Michelin até ao fim de 2006.

O facto de nos transformarmos na fornecedora oficial de pneus para o campeonato mundial de F-1 é uma honra e um prestígio para a Bridgestone e nós aguardamos o início da temporada de 2008 com muita ansiedade"
